Marc, You did not ask "How many other governments and constitutions..." so yes you are missing The United States of America. Then of course Virginia or some other states considered themselves sovereign identities at one time or another. While in Texas before their War of Independence, those living there were under the governance of the Republic of Mexico and the same for those in what is now California, Utah, Nevada, Arizonian, New Mexico, parts of Colorado, Oklahoma, and Kansas. Then there is the Indian Nation that was "independent" of the USA. Some got to Hawaii prior to the take over there; others there. Some got out into French held lands probably. Then, perhaps the northwest part of Georgia that seceded from Georgia in the Civil War and formed their own govt. might be considered. They should be very much at home as things were shifting as far as govt. is concerned, just like back at home. I'm sure others will be speaking up on others that I've forgotten. I never tried to make a list of these before; nor, do I have very good knowledge of just where all Germanna people had scattered, but that did happen rather quickly for quite a few. I sure there are several others I am missing. Glad you brought up a "new" subject.
