    3. Hi Barb, I'll have to do ancestor reports for both people and then attach to private emails to anyone who is interested. Just too much data to post here on the List. (That is, unless you want just the bare bones data.) I can do several formats, .TXT, .PDF, .RTF, etc. Can do an Ahnentafel in either format. If you use RootsMagic 4, I can also create ancestor charts which you can add to your RM4 folder and open in RM4. I can do several types of charts (Box/Pedigree) and save them to .PDF or .RTF. I can do Family Group Sheets for any of Johann Christian's or "Burga's" ancestors, showing all the data for the family, including the children and their data. OR, if you use a "good" genealogy program, and are brave, I can extract all the data for John and "Burga", their ancestors, descendants, etc., and export it to a GEDCOM (.GED file). If you use a program other than RM4, you can create a new database and import the .GED file into it to create a separate database (probably best for those who aren't "experts" working with a genealogy program). If you DO use RM4, you can do the same, create a new database, import the data, then pull up that database beside your main database to help you see the links. As stated earlier, you could then even click, drag, and drop people from one database to the other. Ain't technology wonderful?! (I think probably the Nr. 1 thing I like most about RM4 is the ability to work with different databases, side by side. Of course it gets crowded if you don't have a wide-screen monitor. [GRIN]) Barb, if you, or anyone else doesn't have the data, tell me what you want, OR go to my database at Rootsweb and access the data directly. Sarge (P.S. John Blankenbaker is absolutely correct in stating the wife's name as "Walburga WEAVER/WEBER". Several databases have her as "Margaret" and some with a nickname "Peggy". I've never seen any documentation for those names. I've entered AKA names in my database showing Alternate Names of Walburga, Burga, Margaret, and Peggy, just for those who question.) (P.P.S. I just uploaded my most recent database to Rootsweb. It should be available in a short while after Rootsweb finishes parsing it.) 3. Sarge, I do have Roots Magic 4 but all the other programs you mention are like Greek to me. Whatever is easiest for you.
