Tonnie Cates brought to my attention some duplications in the COONS/KUNTZ and HANBACK/HANBACH/HEIMBACH families. Someone, instead of checking to see if those people were in the database, entered them all as new additions. This really made a mess, but I "think" I have consolidated all the duplications. PLEASE! CHECK BEFORE ADDING ANYONE TO SEE IF HE/SHE IS ALREADY IN THE DATABASE. I think all of you Germanna researchers are familiar enough with the spelling variants of surnames to know to search for all variants before adding anyone. When you search to see if anyone is already in the database, you can, for example, type in Jacob, pause a few seconds to allow the Ancestry program to find all people named Jacob, then look down the list to see if your Jacob is already there with a different spelling variation. Or, if you want to enter Jacob COONS, check first for Jacob KUNTZ, e.g. Sarge Germanna Database at Ancestry: http://trees.ancestry.com/tree/28427876/recent?o_iid=41125&o_lid=41125&o_sch=Web+Property My Germanna Database at Rootsweb: http://wc.rootsweb.ancestry.com/cgi-bin/igm.cgi?db=germanna My Germanna Website at Rootsweb: http://homepages.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~george/index.html
