    3. Hello Rock, Yes, George Adam RAUSER, Sr., is the one to whom I traced back the local family in Knoxville, TN. I really have nothing to share other than what I have found on the Internet, Census Records, Marriage Records, etc. The surname of the original RÄUSER immigrant has been found in so many variations that it's a wonder that anyone can trace their ancestry back to him. Talked to my mother in Sweetwater, TN, last week and her new neighbor is a RACER! Going to talk with those neighbors and see if they are of RÄUSER descent.
