The Weekly Genealogist (New England Historic Genealogical Society) recently sent out a notification that JSTOR will make journal content published in the USA prior to 1923 and elsewhere prior to 1870 available free to anyone in the world. Sometimes when I am searching for an ancestor, I get hits that bring me to a document on JSTOR. JSTOR is a non-profit scholarly digital archive that serves primarily libraries and academic institutions.
