I figured, but thanks for the confirmation. I am just surprised by the lack of interest in what are Blankenbakers from the Germanna folks! I saw tons of emails back and forth on how to get onto HeritageQuest (guess I'm spoiled, our library offers at home access) but when there is something 'live' happening for our shared ancestors - nothing. Not even a 'send us a report' or 'how great!' or 'give our best to Von Blankenbaker for taking the time/effort' I am sort of disappointed in the lack of interest - these are direct descendants of Germanna - Joel was born in Virginia.
