Evidently when I send an "invite" to the shared Germanna Tree at Ancestry, the computer program there mixes and mis-matches the Usernames and Nicknames. Heck, it even shows my Nickname for one of my alternate email addresses as the Nickname for someone else! So, in order to try to straighten this out and allow those who have been unable to log on to do so, I've removed several email addresses, Usernames, and Nicknames. IF YOU ARE UNABLE TO LOG ON TO THE TREE AT ANCESTRY, LOOK IN YOUR MAIL BOX FOR A NEW "INVITE" AND GO THROUGH THE PROCESS AGAIN. I'm sorry but I don't know what else to do to fix this mess. Don't worry, any data you've posted to the Tree will still be there. If you look at the list of people who have been invited, and see your Username and/or Nickname is incorrect, let me know and I'll fix it, I hope. If you have requested an "invite" but haven't seen a confirmation email, let me know and I'll try to fix that also. I still have almost 3 dozen "invites" that have not been responded to. So let me know if you didn't receive the confirmation email from me. With the exception of two people, all the invites that have had problems are either AOL users or YAHOO users, and those two people were using local "non-mainstream" servers for their email.
