Hello Anita, The information I have in the database is based on the following: ======================================================= Familien buch Baumholder, 1700-1822, Evangelisch Luherisch, page 262: No. 1419 oo 29.11.1691 Rausch, Johann Bartholomäus, Gerichtsschultheiss zu Baumholder Born about 1662 and died 14.3.1723, 61Jahres Son of R. Ludwig Sallin, Wolfstein ======================================================= Johann Bartholomäus RAUSCH, born 1662, died in in 1723 in Baumholder. He had no son named Matthias. Johann Bartholomäus had a son Johann Abraham who was born 1692 in Germany and married Christina BEHN. This Johann was the father of Matthias. I don't have a Johannes born in Germany, just Johann. Is the Johannes to whom you refer perhaps Johann Abraham, father of Matthias? The birth dates for Johann Bartholomäus and Matthias just don't match up.
