Hello! Before everyone puts up their ornaments, will you please notice if there is an explanation for the tradition of the pickle ornament. On a few occasions, I've had opportunities to ask about the tradition, and the Germans to whom I have asked it, have shrugged their shoulders and suggested that it might be a tradition in a specific part of German not indigenous to their own home area. Hmmm...
