Yes, We [my parents and I] first experienced meat fondue in the late 1950's in New Glarus, Wisconsin, a Swiss village, known for among other things, its lace. I believe it was at its hotel or inn. We thought it was great and soon my parents had a fondue pot or two, and even dishes for the meat fondue with depressions for each sauce. Great memories and great eating.
