Moin, When these lists were set up the German-Life list and the German-Food list it was for the sole purpose of having a mail list that did not just pertain to genealogy and gave a broader area for conversation about Germany now and before and things that had to do with our culture and not necessarily all genealogy even tho the two go hand in hand. It is listed in the Communities, mail lists that are non-genealogy related. I also set up the Sicilian mail lists, but I no longer have them. Those people are still fighting and they fight over anything or just need to see who can yell the loudest, that was my husband's line. Gail
