    2. Ralf: I make my Spaetzle by cutting the dough off the Brett into the boiling water (I usually use the Spaetzle water, then, to make the Koenbigsberger Klops !!). In 1960, at Gustav Fuchs store in Heilbronn, I bought a Spaetzle maker and used it for years, but the Brett method yields much more authentic Spaetzle. Yep, those pop-top beer bottles are the cat's pajamas !! Gosh, just out of bed and you've got me hungry already !! :-))) Dave Ross
