Do not append your message to some other subject line. I, and I am sure others, no longer bother reading this subject line it has long ago worn out its interest and I just by accident clicked on this one which is totally unconnected. The format to be used for this type of inquiry is SURNAME, place name, time. Ex: GUENTHER, Friederike Franziska, Allenstein, Ostpreussen 1780 Also you should subscribe to the Ostpreussen List. The German Life list is not really for genealogy but to help understand German Customs though lately it has wandered off the original topic somewhat.
