Actually, Dave it is the Loonie, and the Two dollar Coin in the twoonie. The Twoonie has the Queen on the one side and an engraving of a polar bear on the other. Back when the Twoonie was first introduced, we all made sport of what we would call it. The One dollar was the Loonie, so what should the 2 dollar piece be called. Amongst all the other proposals I thought we should call it the Moonie because it had a picture of the Queen on one side with a bare (bear) behind.
