Good morning! I just recently received a translated letter from a possible relative in The NETHERLANDS. In part, she writes: "(her) mother was a WATERHOLTER by birth. Her family has always lived in Bunde on the border with Holland." "The family WATERHOLTER, also written WATERHOLTER with an umlaut over the 'O', comes from Wissentrup, which lies near Lage, close to Detmold." "There is still a piece of land there that is still called "The WATERHOLZ". I'm in the process of trying to get the address of the State Archives in Detmold to see if anyone there would be willing to look up any information for me since I am so far away in the United States. If anyone, on either of the two lists that I am subscribed to, can assist me, I would really appreciate it. Thanks! Pat McCoy USA
