    3. Someone asked about Thomas Munzer's foray into Eichsfeld in 1525. This was part of the largest in several centuries of uprisings, but not the last. For a few weeks he swept all before him, even capturing nobles such as Ernst von Honstein, Gunther von Schwarzburg,Kurt von Dittichenrode, Heinrich Hake, Christopher von Alterdorf and Balthasar von Bendeleben. By May 27 he had been executed by Ernst von Mansfeld.
