Hoping someone may have co me across this title which seems to relate to places in Maehren, today Czech Republic...Freiherr von Pittarn zu Liebenthal und Zottig is registered in the Vienna archives as something like a "Reichsarbeitsdientsfuehrer" but then mysteriously at the end of the war is registered as an "Archimandrit" of the greek-Catholic Church.(there is no knowledge of his having studied at any seminary only the Kriegschule). He was raised at the Hofburg and called the Kaiser "Grosspapa" and was educated at the Kriegsmarineschule. He was born the same year as the Mayerling murders and was adopted by an upper-middle class family named ZIRBS. Any information or insight into this rather strange case appreciated. I am helping his granddaughter Freiherrin B. Zirbs von Pittarn zu L. und Z. to piece this together. Many thanks..English/deutsch JFP
