I'm looking for information on the WINKLER family from Hertigswalde. Karl Winkler was born 19 Nov 1818 at Hertigswalde. He came to the U.S.A in 1883 (at the age of 65) and settled in Chicago, IL. A year later he located with his family on a farm near Barrington, IL. He had six children; three of them came to the U.S.A. If anyone else is doing research in the area around Hertigswalde/Sebnitz, I'd like to hear from you. Sandy Demlow
