It is 1 mile nnw of the larger (not by much) town of Winden im Elztal which has postal code 79297 (a postal code that Oberwinden probably shares). It is in district EM, Emmendingen on Route 294. Nearest town of any size is Waldkirch which is about halfway between Unterglotteral & Oberwinden. While Unterglotteral is on the Glotterbach river, Oberwinden is on/near the Elz (both relatively small rivers). Both towns are in the Schwarzwald/Black Forest region of se B-W, 15-20 miles east of the Rhein/Rhine which is the border with France. Best of luck in your search. Curt
