Robert August DIETZ emigrated to U.S. 1882 from Bockwa bei Zwickau, Saxony leaving behind parents August Dietz, Maria BAUER, brother Ernst, unknown sister. Lutheran Pfarrer at Zwickau-Dom has graciously informed me there are no records of my family there. My question is how to find the Parish that might have served Bockwa in 1800 and would the parish records now be held at the Dom and already searched by the Pfarrer. I know that LDS has filmed in Zwickau, but it will be quite some time before I am able to access their films so am just looking for information on the most likely 1800 Parish for Bockwa ( which is now a part of Zwickau.)
