My cousin's g grandfather was Gustav GERTH. She has been told he was from Saxomy (not sure this is spelled right), Germany. In the census it shows Prusssia. We know that he was in Marshall, MS in 1870 and 1880 and the census record showed that he was naturalized in 1865 but we cannot find any record for him. We did find where he was married to a Nancy Harper in the 1880 census and had an orphan child by the name of Hiram McDaniels. He sometime around 1883 married a Lula Mae Robertson (her direct line). Also can anyone tell where Saxomy might be located? We would love to find relatives of this family.
