Is Thuringen the same as Thuringia? I know nothing of Germany, etc., but I have a Charlotte (no maiden name) who married William Kloepfel, and she was born in Muehlberg, Thuringen(ia), in 1830. She died in 1906 in Menasha, Wisconsin. Does this make any sense to anyone? Would be thrilled to hear from someone to clarify all this. Thank you. June D. Koeppe
