Dear Helpers: I am looking for Info on and would like to know more about the Kussmaul (Kushmaul_ family and names and if there are many left in Germany. My Dad's family came from Baden, Wurttemburg, Moetzing, and other towns. Do you know where I could find some History on these areas as I like to learn what it was like, where they lived, along with searching for the families. I would appreciate some news on this. I sure do a lot of searching in many different sites as it is easier than going to the Library. Johannes Kussmaul birth/Christening 16 Feb 1621 no other particulars. Johann Martin Kussmaul b abt 1688 unknown town Germany; m Catherine Morlock b 1690, m May 24, 1710. I do not have the list of all the children, just Jacob b 1713 m Ursula ? Sept 1749 (I would like to receive these if they are available and the children of other marriages) Johann Martin Kussmaul b 1779 (Luthern) m Casserina Morlock b 1774 (Catholic) m Oct 22, 1805 in Moetzing, Germany. They had ten children and the 7th one Jonathon Kussmaul b 28 Dec 1814 in Wertumberg m Sarah (Sally) ? , b 1823 Baden, in Maryland after landing (?Boston) Lived there awhile then wagon trained down through Pennsylvania and then to Lima, Ohio USA I truly would like to know more about the families there and the ones that left there... and the history of the towns etc..
