    1. [GERMANKING] ALFRED RICHTER
    2. I am researching Alfred Richter, born in Leipzig around 1906(a passenger list also lists birth at Sajonia). He immigrated to the US from Madrid Spain in 1928 and went from NY to Puerto Rico, where he stayed one month and returned to the US. On his return he was to stay with a cousin, Mrs. Emile Stern in Irvington NJ. His father was Karl Wilhelm Emil Richter and his mother Anna Bertha Hartung, and he had at least one sibling, Arno Henry born in 1901. I have not been able to find anything further on his to this date.

    3. Hello George(e?) -- You may be interested to know about a Leipzig genealogist that has helped me immensely. He is a young graduate ( about 32 years old), who has extensive experience and fabulous connections in both research and webpage construction. There is a financial blessing too; he doesn't charge as much like some do. Try the URL below -- to give you an idea of his capabilities. I'm very happy with the results I received. http://ilabws.informatik.uni-leipzig.de/~andre/roots/query.html >, and ... for his e-mail: Andre & Jana - SCHMIDT- <andre@informatik.uni-leipzig.de> Another help for researching immigration is the URL below. ----------------- For Immgration Ships Transciber's Guild and many ways to search ships lists using indexes, see: http://istg.rootsweb.com/ ----------------- Personally, I'm searching for surnames in places as follows: Gross / Limmer / Nitzsche in Werdau / Klingenthal / Neukirchen (bei Crimmitschau) Caroline Louisa Gross, B: 24 Jan 1832 in Werdau.
