I am looking for information on the ship SS Apolda which visited Freemanlte, Australia in 1907 and Brisbane, Queensland,Australia in January 1908 .According to the shipping list the crew had all German names, No passengers disembarked when it arrived in Brisbane. I have made a few enquiries on other mailing lists but have had no replies. is there anyone out there who could tell me what kind of a ship it was.or any other information on the "Apolda" if not then where could I look next for more information It seems my grandfather was a stoker on this ship many thanks Fay
