I have located the file numbers containing the emigration information for both my great and great great grandmothers. At this site: <http://www.archive.nrw.de.kontakt/haupt.asp> there is an E-mail form for contacting the appropriate archive holding the files. I completed the address portion of the form providing the name and address information as is standard here in the US. In return I received an error message that requested that I fill out the fields: Name, postal code and place. Can any tell me whether this site is restricted to German addresses only? What did I do wrong?
