Sept. 1839, who apparently emigrated to America from Lippe-Detmold. Can anyone point me in the appropriate direction to find more information on him? If you have any idea of the port or year he landed, you might do a surname search at cimorelli http://208.249.158.172/safe/shipmenu.htm which will give you the NARA index films to search for ship passenger lists. .
