Gloria This is really far fetched but I don't know how desperate you are to find your person. 23 years ago I had a cousin living in Pivitsheide. We visited them and they had employed a young teacher from Bad Salzuflen to spend the day with us and be our interpreter. His name was Jorg Sander. I have checked the directory and don't find him there today but do find a Gerald Sander. I would be willing to bet he is related to Jorg and could tell you his whereabouts.......most likely just in a neighboring village. Anyway, considering Jorg taught in that area I would think he would be very likely to know the whereabouts of your Mr. Strehlau. I realize this is a thin lead, but in genealogy often times the thinnest of threads leads us to the pot of gold!!!
