Dear List Members, A few days ago I posted a message calling for articles for the GBHS newsletter the Heimatbrief. I had no response to my call…. As the editor, I am having a very difficult time finding material of interest to put in your Heimatbrief! I need you help! >From my own research findings, I would have enough material for another issue or two of the Heimatbrief, but after that I am not so sure. Over the years many of you, particularly Aida Kraus and Karen Hobbs, have submitted articles for the Newsletter. Aida and Karen have been godsends for us with many, many fine submissions! I have been amazed at the number of you that have indicated that you once lived in the "homeland". We, so much, would like to hear your stories of life there!! Those of you who are first or second generation descendants of German-Bohemian immigrants, I am sure, you have stories from you parents and grandparents about life in the "old country" or about their experiences coming to the U.S. We would also like to hear your stories!!
