At least I have company in the access problem. I hope Dennis & Marg have both seen the helpful answers from Blanka & David Crider. Thank you to both of you for all the help. I think that solves the problem, though the Plzen archives records remain more difficult to access than the others on actapublica. I've used the gazeteer at genteam.at countless times, so I'm prepared with the parishes of all my villages. Thanks again. Judy
