    1. [GERMAN-BOHEMIAN] My Oma
    2. You may wonder what this announcement has to do with the list, but I promise there's a connection. Almost three weeks ago, my Oma passed away in her sleep at the age of ninety, and as this list has been a crucial part in the last gift I was able to give her, I wanted to make sure everyone who's helped knows just what they've done and how much it means to me as well as the rest of the family. Thanks to you all, Aida in particular, I was able to solve a few family mysteries and find Oma's family for her while she was still alive, something we'd been unable to do for decades until I stumbled onto this list. It gave her an extra sense of peace before she passed, to know what had happened to her immediate family after 1945 as well as finally find out the family history beyond her parents. I am eternally grateful to everyone who had a hand in giving that gift to her, it meant more to her than I can say. Anna
