Donna, if you want to know what this hamlet looks like - it is very picturesque - go to https://maps.google.com/maps?hl=en and key in Halenkov CZ. A page will come up with the map and four photographs on the left side. The last photograph is Halenkov. Also, go to this site, and although it is in Czech it has gorgeous pictures and a 360 degree view of the village on it: http://www.halenkov.cz/ For information in Engllish go to: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Halenkov and if you have ancestry in other areas, you can follow this pattern for local research and/or information.
