    1. [GERMAN-BOHEMIAN] translate help redo Galuzzman, Galuzzner/Gebrizzner?
    2. Dennis Nicklaus
    3. Sorry, that last message got sent before it was complete. Examples of the term that I'm reading (probably wrongly) as Galuzzman are at: http://actapublica.eu/matriky/plzen/prohlizec/10798/?strana=2  Look in the 4th column under entries in 1844 for Pabla, George or Zohler, Eva. I don't find it in dictionaries which makes me think I am reading it wrong. Thanks for your help!

    3. Dennis this is most likely a misspelling for Chalupner, the recorder seem to spells it Chalupzner. This is a "Häusler" or a small house owner. Only the title can reveal if it was in ownership by the family, or leased to the people living there. If they had rights to live as part of their working contract, they would be listed as "Inwohner" but that same "title" was also used for actual Family members, journeymen or apprentices who lived in the family house. The ownership could only be established in the records. Often the title to the family property was either kept by the eldest family member or handed over to the next generation (which was mostly done to avoid paying inheritance taxes).
