Yes, you would need the name of the village. There are some years that the census is not available for. In my situation, I got them for Hostau (Hostoun) and Haselberg (Liskovec). I gave them the surname and asked for info on anyone living there. The info that is on the census is nationality, religion, ability to read or write, field of occupation, position of occupation,kind of establishment where their work is done, birthplace, family status, sex,given name, birth date, mo. and year. You of course get the house number of the residence.
