Karen, Thank you it does sound like a good start. There does not appear to be any record of Jacob going through Vienna. Is the film you suggest a record of those taking a different, more northerly route to Galicia and Bukovina. My research todate suggests Jacob went directly to Bajnitz, Bukovina and based on house numbers he lived - he was one of the first settlers in Bajnitz arriving about 1800. At the same time I would like to find the families of Georg Linzmayer born about 1700 in Eisenstrass married to Anna Kollmer and Johann Georg Linzmayer born 1708 in Eisenstrass married to Eva Milbauer. These families are of the same age Jacob. -----Original Message----- From: KarenHob@aol.com [mailto:KarenHob@aol.com] Sent: Monday, March 06, 2006 9:57 AM To: GERMAN-BOHEMIAN-L@rootsweb.com Subject: Re: [GERMAN-BOHEMIAN] Jacob Linzmayer The LDS film title: Ansiedlerakten lists families that migrated from Bohemia to Galicia and Bukovina in 1782 and later. Look for Linzmayers in that film as a starting point. Karen ==== GERMAN-BOHEMIAN Mailing List ==== Visit the German-Bohemian Heritage Society Web Page! http://www.rootsweb.com/~gbhs/
