Thanks for your response. Actually, I have researched the Markt Eisenstein parish records on microfische. Even though they are in German, they are pretty easy to figure out. I was able to trace our ancestry back to 1700, with the information on these records. The problem is that the records of births and marriages occuring AFTER 1808 are only available in Pilsen, Czech Republic. I understand from others that access to these archives is limited. I am in California. What is the best way to request information from the State Archives in Pilsen?
