The Frieda family came to the U.S. in 1882 with six living children and four more later. The birth certificate of one of the males states; he, his family and his grandparents were from the area of Kunewald [now Kunin]. On census records for Texas from 1900 to 1930 there are at least a half dozen different parts of Austria and Moravia listed. The University of Wisconsin furnished me with marked maps for the Kunewald/Kunin area. At the time I wrote they I had not seen the Magyarorszag, Austria listing.
