Susie, I suspect you are talking about "Caroline Huble" - after reading your posting, I looked at Ancestry and found her in the 1930 census. Was Jacob her spouse? In the 1920 census he is 70 & she is 49, says she immigrated in 1879 from Germany (can't depend on how Ancestry records information). I suppose her maiden name was Frieda. In the Family Trees at Ancestry.com, there is a "Carrie (Turner) Shelton" also researching this same family, do you know her? She reports a Caroline FRIEDA was born 26 MAY 1870 in Mehrin, Austria - married 3 JAN 1889 in Lavaca Co., Texas to Herman Oscar HUBLE b: 22 MAR 1908 in Beeville, Bee Co., Texas. Is this your couple? You may want to contact her and ask her source for the place of birth Mehrin, Austria. Hope this helps, Jody ----- Original Message ----- From: "Susie Perkins" <susieperkins@msn.com> To: <GERMAN-BOHEMIAN-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Monday, December 26, 2005 11:37 AM Subject: [GERMAN-BOHEMIAN] Where is Magyarorszag, Austria ? >I recently found my grandmother on the 1930 Texas census.
