    3. You can get the properly mixed 15g Nuernberger Lebkuchen spices in packets enough for 2 lbs 3 oz. flour from Ostmann D33596 Bielefeld and they may have a website where you can order it, or go to a German Deli. This would give to the absolutely correct Nuernberger Lebkuchen taste. But here is an alternative if you have problems getting this delicate spice: a "pretty close" but not quite same taste can be achieved by using Chinese Five Spice (which can be bought from any spice rack at the Market) and use 1 Tablespoon of this plus 1 Tablespoon of powdered cinnamon. Hope this will help. The Ostmann mix ingredients are: Cinnamon, Orange peel (powdered) Lemon peel (powdered), Coriander,Star Anise powdered, Nutmeg, Mace, Fennel, Cloves and Cardamom. I do not know in which proportions however!
