    3. Hi, Is it RIEMER or REIMER ? - you mentioned both in your mail. I only know an organ manufactury named RIEGER once located in the triangle of bohemia/poland/saxony. The company has changed it owners and now is located in Schwarzach/Austria and still is named RIEGER, exporting big church organs to the whole world. I am the owner of a crank organ that was manufactured by this company. The organ was imported to Texas in 1893 by a Czech immigrant. The music is contained on three giant wooden drums, each containing nine numbers. The numbers are German and Czech polkas, waltzes, marches, laendlers, etc. and at least one Polish number. Originally, the family also imported another smaller organ but it no longer exists. The organ was played frequently over the past 100 years at wedding dances and other occasions but now we only play it on special occasions. I would like to know more about the Kratzau Brother Company and the organs that they manufactured. Carroll Warschak Waco, Texas ==== GERMAN-BOHEMIAN Mailing List ==== Forgotten how to UNSUBSCRIBE?
