Thanks Aida! I have visited the websites you mentioned and did the instant translation. I thought maybe the "Consumption" was an eating establishment of some sort, since Consumption is from the word to Consume or to eat. My family ran a Saloon here in Illinois after they arrived. But a grocery where they sell food for consumption makes sense too. Once when I had it translated it was actually translated as "Tuberculosis"! Both my immigrant grandfathers were Josef Schieberl, father and son. I believe they were from the Mirschikau area because I have old photos with a Bischofteinits address on the back and then I found the Schieberls mentioned in Mirschikau.
