Paul: Are those towns near Rosshaupt? Rosshaupt (Rovdavov) is now about 1 Km from he German border. The church records seem to be St Catherines, unless that is the name of another town. Infantile convulsions could have been the result of a bacterial or viral infection. I know children, especially infants, are susceptible to having convulsions with a high fever. They would not have had Aspirin or Tylenol which is used today. A lot of people died from infections that are easily treated with antibiotics now. Claudia Sperl **************One site has it all. Hi Claudia, St.Catherines was a village near Rosshaupt, between Rosshaupt and Primda/Pfraumberg on the main road to Pilsen.
