    3. Stephanie,     It was so nice of you to reply to my question.  I have followed your instructions and tried to get into the church records again.  I clicked on to the Pilsen Archive at the Prohlizeni Matrik page and the church records for Desenice came up on the next page.  I then clicked onto the magnifying glass of the records I wanted to see and another page titled Prohlizeni Matrik came up.  It listed Desenice 18 (the records I selected), the word snimek, arrows and a little box for the page number of the record I selected.  I entered the number and clicked on "enter" and nothing happens.  The page stays the same.  That's the point I can't seem to get past so I must be doing something wrong.  Have you gotten past this point?  Thank you again for helping--Cris     ________________________________ From: "[email protected]" <[email protected]> To: [email protected] Sent: Tue, May 18, 2010 6:31:19 PM Subject: Re: [GERMAN-BOHEMIAN] Problem with Pilsen Archive on line Cris - make sure you switch from the Brno to the Pilsen Archives. Once you r on the PROHLIZENI MATRIK site, look at the middle left screen and find Vyberte archiv - it always starts out with "Moravsky zemsky archiv v Brne" . Click on little arrow pointing down right next to Brne and select Plzni. Click ZOBRAZIT or it wont switch you. After that go to page top middle and select MATRIKY. Type 81 in the little empty box on left top half (right before it says 555) and click enter. This will bring u straight to Desenice. Hope this helps. I was trying to see signatura number 18, SM number 4841. 2. Cris - your not doing anything wrong !!!! I am able to open a few pages of book 18 but that's it. The little circle in the middle of the page keeps spinning like it wants to open it but nothing happens. I ran into same problem with some of the books I am researching. You will have to just wait until Pilsen fixes it :( Keep on checking though. What/Who are you looking for?
