    3. Thanks Michael.  I tried all sorts of ways and could bring up only a "B" Parish, Bezdruzice.  All my other Parishes, C thru H, do not show the magnifying glass, so I guess they are not on-line now.  I hope they put them back on-line soon, as I have discovered two more names that I want to check on in Celiv and Domaslav and was making some break-thrus.  All my Grandmother's lines are in villages in the Plzen Archives so far, and I had gotten some of them back to the mid 1600s. Glad to know that those Parishes are not on-line right now and that is not my computer Browser not bringing things up correctly.  I have been having problems with it, Firefox, but IE (which I'm reluctant to use) and Chrome didn't work either. Will just keep checking and see if they get back on-line.  There was a note on 10 June that said the Pilzn Archives were back on-line after an interruption. Thank you very much for your help.  Marg McEuen --- On Fri, 7/9/10, Michael o Hearn <[email protected]> wrote: From: Michael o Hearn <[email protected]> Subject: Re: [GERMAN-BOHEMIAN] Czech Archives To: [email protected] Date: Friday, July 9, 2010, 9:06 PM Mary, Once you log in, I am assuming you got that far, then you should be at the frame labeled " Vyhledáváni".  There is no longer an English translation option.  Select the Archive name, either Brno, Plzni, or Praze under where it says "Vyberte archiv".  The hit the "Zobrazit" button.  This will take you to the right archive.  Then enter the town name in Czech, either in the space labeled "Obec:" or the one at the bottom labeled "Signatura:".  You can also select the number of documents you wish to show up per page.  I usually leave this at the standard number 30. Then hid the button at the bottom labeled "Hledat".  This should take you to the page "Matriky", the listing of the documents for the particular town, with the number of document listings as selected previously, e.g. 30.  Then check the last column on the right labeled "Obr. data".  If data is available online, there will be a magnifying glass icon in the box on the far right for each line listed for the town for which you are searching.  If not, there is no data currently online. I have found that the towns beginning with the letter "A" do still have online data available from the Plzen Archive.   These will of course be at the beginning of "Matriky" for the particular archive you wish to access.
