Ranette moved with her parents to Gering in 1971 and worked for Masek Distributing for several years. Survivors include her brothers, Randy and Marianna Schneider of Aurora, Colo. and Brent and Ginger Schneider of Gering; three stepdaughters Kathy, Renee and Lorie; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, aunts; and uncles and Benji and Charlie. Preceding Ranette in death was her husband and mother and father. Ranette's family would like to acknowledge and especially thank our cousin Cindy, whose loving support and caring ways fulfilled Ranette's wish to remain in her home as she courageously struggled with cancer. Although taken from us too soon, Ranette will be remembered for her faith, generosity and strength and will be sadly missed by family and friends.
