Has a church book ever been found? My relative was Jacob Ruf and Ranemus Ruf coming from what country in 1774. My grandfather as Jacob Ruf, born in Dittel in 1873. My grandmother was Catherine Balzer, born in Stephan Colony in 1874. Previous relative known then in 1800s was Jacob Ruf and Sopie Flohr. Then Jacob Ruf and Christina Ellenberger born 1833 and 1834.
