Weber, Florence, August 25, 1922- Nov. 10, 2012 Scottsbluff Star Herald Scottsbluff, Nebraska 14 Nov 2012 Florence Weber, 90, of Scottsbluff, passed away Saturday, Nov. 10, 2012, at Regional West Medical Center in Scottsbluff. Memorial services will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 14 at Federated Church in Mitchell with Dr. Charles Richardson officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials have been established to Federated Church or to Panhandle Humane Society. Tributes of sympathy may be left at www.dugankramer.com. The daughter of Conrad and Mollie Libsack, Florence was born in Minatare on August 25, 1922, and lived all but three years in this valley, where she raised her family. In 1941, she married Henry Heilbrun Jr. and moved to Kent, Washington. After two years they returned to the family and valley they loved and missed. Florence was married to Harry Weber in 1964 and enjoyed life on the farm until retiring and moving to town in 1983. Growing up on a farm as the oldest of six children brought many responsibilities early in her life. Those years were challenging, yet the source of great memories. Recalling those memories with her brothers was a favorite pastime and always led to peals of laughter. Florence was a talented seamstress and cook. She loved to travel and was as comfortable at her quilting frame as she was at a black jack table. She loved waltzes, bull-riding, and cheered for the Rockies. She delighted everyone with her wonderful sense of humor. There were few days we didn't hear her laughter. She loved the changing seasons and watching the fields from planting through harvest. Florence's enduring faith supported her through life's many challenges and was a continuing source of comfort and peace in her later years. Florence is survived by her brother Melvin (Marion) Libsack of Tempe, Ariz., sons Larry (Beverly) Heilbrun of Gilbert, Ariz., Randy Heilbrun, Scottsbluff, Neb., Scott (Carolina) Weber, Austin, Texas, daughter Marianne Rushall, Scottsbluff, Neb., sisters-in-law Delores Libsack and JoAnn Libsack; grandchildren Jason Heilbrun, Brian Heilbrun, April (James) Gentry, Hallie (Jason) Oswald, Brandy (Chris) Herron, Lessie (David) Martin, Judy Amoo, David (Leah) Rushall, Jeff (Amy) Rushall, 19 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Harry Weber, son Roger Heilbrun, son-in-law Irvin Rushall; brothers Albert, Robert, LaVerne and Gary Libsack.
