    3. Frank, Kenneth Dean, July 29, 1936- Dec. 25, 2012 Billings Gazette Billings, Montana 28 Dec 2012 Dean Frank Late afternoon on Dec. 25, our husband, father, lover, soul mate and best friend began his eternal rest. Left behind to miss him are his wife, LaVerne, of 53 years; four sons and their families, Scott (Danita and Justin) of Fort Collins, Colo., Troy (Lemar and Isaiah) of Indianapolis, Ind., Daron (Amanda, Kendall and Tatum) of Billings, Joshua (Chelsea) of Long Beach, Calif.; his furry companion, Emily; two brothers and their families; cousins; extended family members; and numerous friends. Dean was born on a farm near Laurel to Alex and Lydia Frank on July 29, 1936. He was the middle of three boys, Jim the oldest and Clint the youngest. Dean was a faithful and loving husband, devoted father, grandfather and a friend to all. Dean graduated from Senior High in 1955. He completed his undergraduate degree at Eastern Montana College (MSUB) and earned a master’s of math at Southeastern State in Durante, Okla. He taught math for 22 years in the Billings School District and was a successful insurance agent with Farmers Insurance for 30-plus years. All who knew Dean as a professional had deep respect for his work ethic, integrity and personal care for each individual who came in contact with him. Dean enjoyed life. He loved his gatherings with friends, family, bicycling, celebrating birthdays with his birthday group, traveling (especially the bike tours), Kiwanians and watching football, never missing a Griz game. As family, we honor his wishes for his final farewell. Memorial services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 29, 2012, at the Masonic Center on the corner of 11th and Broadwater. Memorials may be made to the Special K Ranch, PO Box 479, Columbus, MT 59019; Angela’s Piazza, 420 Grand Ave., Billings, MT 59101; or MS Society. Dean, we who have loved you are better people because of how you lived. Your steadfastness, honesty and genuine humbleness shall live on. “Well done, good and faithful servant!” Two of Dean’s mottos: “Never miss a party, you never know when it’s your last,” and “I’ve never seen a hearse pulling a U-Haul yet.” The family will gather this summer for a hike in the Beartooths to spread Dean’s ashes. Some of Dean’s last words: “I am so proud of our sons and grandchildren.” “Bye Deano. Love You For Always.” Arrangements are by Cremation & Funeral Gallery. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.cfgbillings.com through “Our Families.”
