Hoffmann, Lucille Josephine (Lucy), May 6, 1925-Dec. 4, 2012 The Tribune Greeley, Colorado 9 Dec 2012 Lucille was born at home on May 6, 1925, in Lawler, Iowa. She is the daughter of John Henry (Harry) Brannon and Bridget Josephine (Josie) Colwell. In 1932, during the great depression, the family moved from Lawler to Independence. Lucille graduated from St. Johns High School in 1942. She married Norbert Martin Hoffmann on her birthday, May 6, 1946, at St. Johns church in Independence. In 1955, she and Norbert moved to Casper, Wyo., where they remained until 1961. It was at this time the family moved to Greeley, which has been home for the past 51 years. Lucille and Norbert, along with other family members, were founding members of St. Marys Catholic Church. Lucille is survived by her sons, Michael Mike Vincent Hoffmann and his wife, Eileen of Las Vegas, Nev., and Alan Martin Hoffmann of Greeley; and her daughter, Janet Ann Jan Milenski and her husband, Rich of Greeley. She was quite fond of her grandchildren, Emerson Milenski and wife, Elena, living in Moscow, Russia and Barrett Milenski and wife, Amy, who reside in Salt Lake City. Lucille was elated to be able to know and share herself with her three great-grandchildren, Atonina Toni, and Daniil Dani of Moscow, and Samuel Sam of Salt Lake City. Memorial services will be held at a later date at Fort Logan Military Cemetery.
