Adamson Memorial Chapel Greeley, Colorado 12-38-2006 Reinholt J. Blehm September 13, 1908 - December 24, 2006 Age: 98 Residence: Greeley, CO Tribute: Reinholt (Rhinie) J. Blehm was born in Diddle, Russia to Henry and Amollia (Oblander) Blehm who were Germans from Russia. Mr. Blehm became an American citizen January 4, 1940. On January 27, 1929 he married Elizabeth Weinmeister; they were married one month short of 78 years. Mr. Blehm lived in the Ault, Windsor, Eaton and Greeley areas. He was a horse trader, cattle feeder and farmer. He loved to work and took pride in his ability to get things done. Mr. Blehm started farming with a team of horses, a wagon, pitchfork and shovel. He marveled at the farm equipment of today and all the people. Mr. Blehm was known for his firm meaningful hand shake. Mr. Blehm died Sunday at the Life Care Center in Greeley. Survivors: Wife, Elizabeth Blehm of Greeley; two daughters, Dorothy Wiedeman and husband Albert of Greeley and Shirley Stroberg and husband Donald of Eaton; and son-in-law, Lynn Clary Greeley. He is also survived by six grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; five great-great grandchildren; brother, Ted Blehm of Keytesvilles, MO; and sister, Mildred Reichart of Greeley. Preceded in death by: Parents, Henry and Amollia Blehm; daughter, Carol Clary; grandson, Doug Stroberg; brother, Henry Blehm; sisters, Betty Heinze and Nora Helzer; and two infant great granddaughters. Interment: 9:30 a.m. Thursday, January 4, 2006 at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Greeley, CO. Services: 11:00 a.m. Thursday, January 4, 2006 at Faith Lutheran Church in Eaton, CO.
